The following is added as the last paragraph under the heading
"Calculation of Yield and Total Return" in each Statement of Additional
Information.
The Company may disclose in advertising and other types of literature
that investors can open and maintain Sweep Accounts over the Internet or
through other electronic channels (collectively, "Electronic Channels").
Such advertising and other literature may discuss the investment options
available to investors, including the types of accounts and any applicable
fees. Such advertising and other literature may disclose that Wells Fargo
Bank is the first major bank to offer an on-line application for a mutual
fund account that can be filled out completely through Electronic Channels.
Advertising and other literature may disclose that Wells Fargo Bank may main-
tain Web sites, pages or other information sites accessible throught Electronic
Channels (an "Information Site") and may describe the contents and features
of the Information Site and instruct investors on how to access the
Information Site and open a Sweep Account. Advertising and other literature
may also disclose the procedures employed by Wells Fargo Bank to secure
information provided by investors, including disclosure and discussion of the
tools and services for accessing Electronic Channels. Such advertising or
other literature may include discussions of the advantages of establishing and
maintaining a Sweep Account through Electronic Channels and testimonials
from Wells Fargo Bank customers or employees and may also include
descriptions of locations where product demonstrations may occur. The
Company may also disclose the ranking of Wells Fargo Bank as one of
the largest money managers in the United States.
