Prospectus,  the  table on page 14 of the  Prospectus  which
sets  forth  the  reduction in the sales charge  for  volume
purchases is replaced with the table indicated below.

purchases  of Units of First Trust U.S. Treasury  Securities
Trust, Short-Intermediate, Series 2 to determine whether the
reduced sales charge structure appearing on page 14  of  the
Prospectus  is applicable to purchases of First  Trust  U.S.
Treasury  Securities  Trust,  Short-Intermediate,  Series  2
Units.
