Supplement to the Current Prospectus
The identification of the portfolio manager of the Total Return Series as
described under the caption Management of the Series-Investment Adviser in the
Prospectus is hereby revised to read as follows:
David M. Calabro, a Vice President of the Adviser, Geoffrey L. Kurinsky, a
Senior Vice President of the Adviser, Judith N. Lamb, a Vice President of the
Adviser, Lisa B. Nurme, a Vice President of the Adviser and Maura A.
Shaughnessy, a Vice President of the Adviser, are the Series' portfolio
managers. Mr. Calabro, the head of this portfolio management team, has been
employed by the Adviser since 1992 and served as an analyst and sector portfolio
manager with Fidelity Investments prior to that time. Mr. Kurinsky has been
employed by the Adviser since 1987. Ms. Lamb has been employed by the Adviser
since 1992 and served as an analyst with Fidelity Investments prior to that
time. Ms. Nurme has been employed by the Adviser since 1987. Ms. Shaughnessy has
been employed by the Adviser since 1991 and served as an analyst with Harvard
Management Company prior to that time.
