     On June 21, 1999, Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (the "Company") announced the
completion of the acquisition of The Graphics Group of Dallas, Texas. A copy of
the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1.

     On June 22, 1999, the Company announced the completion of the acquisition
of Westland Printers of Baltimore, Maryland. A copy of the press release is
attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2.

                       THE GRAPHICS GROUP OF DALLAS, TEXAS

     HOUSTON, TEXAS - June 21, 1999 - Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (NYSE:CGX)
today announced that it has completed its acquisition of The Graphics Group of
Dallas, Texas. For over fifty years, The Graphics Group has provided superior
graphic arts services to advertising, marketing, design and communications
professionals. Jan Brans, President of The Graphics Group, will continue with
the company in his current capacity. Representing the seller in the transaction
was Bill Crowley of Hardie & Crowley, LLC located in Austin, Texas. Other terms
were not disclosed.

     Joe R. Davis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Graphics
commented, "The Graphics Group enhances our already strong presence in Dallas
and continues our aggressive acquisition strategy. We welcome Jan Brans and his

     Houston, Texas - June 22, 1999 - Consolidated Graphics, Inc. (NYSE:CGX)
announced today that it has completed the acquisition of Westland Printers.
Founded in 1929, Westland is a full-service commercial printer providing a wide
range of services to over 700 customers in the greater Washington and Baltimore
area. Barbara Westland, an industry leader who currently serves as Chairwoman of
the Council of Governors for the American Advertising Association, will continue
to lead the company's experienced and professional staff upon completion of the
transaction. Other terms were not disclosed.
