Publication of Combined Financial Results
The Colonial BancGroup, Inc. ("BancGroup") acquired by merger, United American
Holding Corporation ("UAH"), First Central Bank ("FCB") and South Florida
Banking Corp. ("SFB") on February 2, February 11 and February 12, 1998,
respectively. These combinations were accounted for by the pooling-of-interests
method. The following financial results include UAH, FCB and SFB for the three
months ended March 31, 1998:
