REVENUES GREW FROM APPROXIMATELY $855,000 IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 1996 TO
APPROXIMATELY $2,500,000 IN THE FIRST QUARTER OF 1997, PRIMARILY DUE TO AN
INCREASE IN THE VOLUME AND SIZE OF CLINICAL TRIAL CONTRACTS. DURING THIS
SAME PERIOD, THE COMPANY'S NET LOSS APPLICABLE TO COMMON STOCK INCREASED
FROM APPROXIMATELY $75,000 TO APPROXIMATELY $600,000. THE INCREASE IN THE
NET LOSS APPLICABLE TO COMMON STOCK IS LARGELY DUE TO INCREASED EXPENSES
RELATED TO THE EXPANSION OF THE COMPANY'S PROFESSIONAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE
STAFF AND INFRASTRUCTURE AND TO ITS SALES AND MARKETING EFFORT.
