Supplement to Prospectus
Dated February 28, 1995
Effective March 17, 1995, Andrew Fleming, head of International
Equities of the Fund's Sub-Adviser, Gartmore Capital Management
Ltd., became the Fund's portfolio manager. Over the last five
years Mr. Fleming has served as a Managing Director of the Sub-
Adviser and has been head of the Sub-Adviser's Far East Desk from
1993 to March 1995.
Separately, during the period from May 1, 1995, through June 30,
1995 (Sales Period), unless extended by Colonial Investment
Services, Inc. (Distributor), the Distributor will pay A.G.
Edwards & Sons, Inc. (A.G. Edwards), 100% of the applicable sales
charge on Class A shares of the Fund sold by A.G. Edwards during
the Sales Period. In addition, the Distributor will pay A.G.
Edwards an additional commission equal to 0.50% of the net asset
value of the Class B shares of the Fund and 0.15% of the net asset
value of the Class D shares of the Fund sold by A.G. Edwards
during the Sales Period.
