The following information supplements the disclosure found

The following information supplements the disclosure found

In March 1995, MFS formed an alliance with Hypo Foreign &
Colonial Management (Holdings) Ltd. (Hypo/F&C). Hypo/F&C is
a partnership between two of the worlds oldest financial
services firms, the London-based Foreign & Colonial
Investment Trust PLC (Foreign & Colonial), which pioneered
the idea of investment management in 1868, and HYPO-BANK
(Bayerische Hypotheken-und Wechsel-Bank AG) of Munich, the
oldest publicly listed bank in Germany, founded in 1835. As
a result of this alliance, MFS will have access to the
extensive international equity investment expertise of
Foreign & Colonial, which may enhance MFS own global equity
research and management capabilities.
