The following language replaces that found on page 4 of the Fund's
Statement of Additional Information under the heading "Investment Restrictions":
o Underwrite the securities of other issuers, except insofar as the Fund
may be deemed an underwriter under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, in
disposing of a portfolio security.
