Supplement dated March 8, 1995 to Prospectus dated July 29, 1994
The Prospectus for the S&P 500 and Bond Index Portfolios ("the
Portfolios") of the SEI Index Funds ("the Trust") is hereby amended and
supplemented by the following:
On March 8, 1995, the Portfolios' shareholders approved the Trust's
advisory agreement with World Asset Management (the "Adviser"), under which
World Asset Management will continue to serve as Investment Adviser to the
Portfolios. All references in the Prospectus to the investment adviser of the
Portfolio shall hereafter be deemed to be references to World Asset Management.
The Adviser is a general partnership formed under Delaware law.
Munder Capital Management ("MCM"), a newly-formed general partnership, and
Munder Trust are its general partners. MCM was created by a merger between
Woodbridge Capital Management, Inc. (the Trust's former investment adviser),
World Asset Management, Inc. and Munder Capital Management, Inc. As of December
31, 1994, total assets under management of the Adviser exceeded $6.0 billion,
and assets managed by MCM totalled approximately $29.5 billion. The principal
